South Hampton Sweat came and went. Though extremely hungover that day with only 4 hours of sleep, I still got a pretty decent workout.
Before heading back to Manhattan, a stop by Cooper’s Beach for some photos seemed to have become a tradition. This year I chose a black high-waisted bikini bottom from ASOS with a floral bandeau. The bandeau was originally a bodysuit haha. I cut it up and tied it up myself. Tada~~ There you have it, an outfit under $30.
On a side note, this past year I’ve been struggling to find balance between life, diet, and workout. I went through stages of obsessively counting calories, vegan diet, intermittent fast, and working out 7 days a week… I probably do look more toned, my weight never changed (maybe a little heavier actually), and probably lost sleep over “being healthy”.
Today, I sit in my office with tendonitis in my left hip from over exercising.
I just had prosciutto mozzarella pizza at lunch.
I haven’t gone to the gym for exactly a week.
I’m glad to say that I now eat a balanced plant-based diet, and ideally try to work out 3-4 times a week.
In the end, this whole experience of losing balance was much needed and appreciated.
