“I’m running out of clothes!” I say, while having a full closet of stuff I refuse to wear.
So there I was, shopping for spring. I had enough money for probably five outfits, but spent all on a single blouse. Ugh~ I blame it on Jonathan Simkhai. For a girl who doesn’t usually shop designer brands, these gorgeous bell sleeves are still too hard to resist. They were aggressively eyeing me, seducing me, until I finally caved in.
Usually when I drop too much money on clothes I'd give myself a mini intervention. I'd hold on to them for a couple of days to see if I have the heart to return them. But this time around I did things quite differently. Instead of guilt-shaming myself for how much I spent, I put on the blouse, went out, and enjoyed some nice Soho sunshine.
This was totally half a paycheck well spent! :D
