I stole this coat from my mom a year ago. As a traditional Chinese woman in her 60s, her fashion sense is quite different from mine. Our taste in style and color pairing of clothing clashes on so many levels. So when I saw her layering this coat on top of a bright red sweater, I had to do something to save the coat... and the sweater.
Till this day I still have no idea which brand it belongs to or where it's made in. My mom said the coat was gifted to her a while back. She'd gotten rid of all the tags that could prove its identity because they felt uncomfortable while she's wearing it.
Personally I love the oversized cut and how it casually holds my body. You can wear many layers underneath and never look bloated. The scarf I'm wearing is of the same color with a dark grey twist. I then threw on a grey tank top, a pair of tight black jeans, and my favorite pair of pointy Aldo boots.
Ay ay, the noon sunshine of West Village makes my hair pinkish blonde.
